We Sponsored a Runner in the Race for the Cure!
Classic Touch Rug Cleaners proudly sponsored one of our very own employees to run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Kellie Paradis, our Director of Business Development, ran in the 5K race downtown St. Pete on October 1st, 2011 to kick off breast cancer awareness month.
Kellie completed the 5K race in 22:05 and had a great time running along the beautiful waterfront of St. Petersburg. There were thousands out there supporting the cause and we were so happy we had a chance to be a part of it.
"I wish there was a race every month for breast cancer awareness, I run this race not only for the millions of people breast cancer affects, but personally for one of my great friends back home in Pennsylvania, who is battling breast cancer right now...I love you Tammy." said Kellie right after the completion of the race.
There are more races to come this month to help spread the word....see you there! Great job Kellie!!!
